Questions

Before the first whistle

Do my evaluators need an account?

Yes, a free one. You invite them by email from the app, they sign in with their own Diamond Commander account (the same sign-in works across the suite), and the invite is claimed automatically. They see only the event you invited them to.

What if the field has no signal?

Every rating saves on the phone instantly and syncs to the cloud in the background. A weak signal never blocks scoring; it catches up when you are back in range.

Can evaluators see each other's scores?

No. Each evaluator sees their own scores and a private ranking built from them. Only the head coach sees the combined board. This is enforced on the server by row-level security, not just hidden in the app.

How is the overall score calculated?

Overall is the average of the on-field skill ratings, shown on a 0 to 100 scale and placed as a true percentile against the field you evaluated. Intangibles are tracked on their own and are not included unless you choose to.

Does this replace my paper sheet?

It replaces the transcribing. Score on the phone, then print a clean ranking sheet or export a CSV for the board. Scouting cards can be shared with a family as a read-only page.

Is it really free?

While we launch, yes, with no credit card. When pricing arrives we will say so well in advance, and anything you have already evaluated stays yours.
